Dear Parents,

Parenting often brings moments of confusion and self-doubt:

👶 Why is my child sometimes clingy, and at other times defiant?
💬 How can I understand what my child’s emotions are really telling me?
💗 Could my responses be shaping my child’s sense of safety and trust?

To help parents better understand and respond to their children’s emotional needs,WCCYC (Wellness Counselling Centre for You Canada) will be launching a 7-session “Circle of Security Parenting Group” starting November 1.

This course is based on the internationally recognized Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P) —an evidence-based parenting intervention model developed from Attachment Theory.Led by Sina Zha, RSW, MSW, a registered social worker and certified Circle of Security facilitator, the program combines theory with guided reflection and interactive practice. Through this journey, parents will learn to:

✅ Understand the core concepts of the Circle of Security
✅ Recognize their child’s emotional needs on the Circle
✅ Build a secure and nurturing parent-child connection
✅ Repair emotional ruptures in the relationship
✅ Integrate COS-P principles into everyday parenting
