Sabrina is passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma, reconnect with themselves and others, and cultivate lasting emotional resilience through experiential, attachment-based, and culturally responsive psychotherapy.
Background and Education
Sabrina is a bilingual (English/Mandarin) Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in Ontario and a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in British Columbia, Canada. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with Honours from Yorkville University, Canada. Sabrina has completed extensive professional training in a range of evidence-based and experiential psychotherapy approaches. Her clinical practice is primarily grounded in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Gestalt Therapy, while integrating experiential, attachment- based, and trauma-informed approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Clinical Hypnotherapy. Her work is further informed by attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, mindfulness-based practice, and parts work approaches.
Work Experience
She worked as a psychological coach for Chinese athletes from age 15 to 22 who participated in the floral projects of the 44th and 45th World Skills Competition. She tailored counseling plans for the competitors in the whole competition preparation process from provincial competitions to nationwide to worldwide competitions. She helped contestants to maintain the best mental state to participate in the world’s highest level of skill competitions. The athletes she coached won the world championship in both competitions.
She believes that everyone has the transformance to be a better self in their own life. She is willing to accompany each client to face and understand their symptoms, explore the strength and resources behind the symptoms, and find the most suitable lifestyle for the client in order to achieve their treatment goals.
